With over 35 years of diverse experience, Prabha Gurumurthy has dedicated her life to empowering individuals through music, leadership, and service. Her journey reflects compassion, excellence, and an unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for every child to shine.
Granddaughter of the legendary Kalaimamani T.R. Mahalingam, Prabha Gurumurthy has established herself as a respected music educator, voice artist, event host, counselor, and mentor. Through Surya School of Music and TRM Surya’s Rhythms, she continues to nurture talent and transform lives through meaningful stage opportunities.

The inspiration behind TRM Surya Foundation comes from the values, love, and musical legacy passed down through generations. Mrs. Prabha Gurumurthy was deeply influenced by her grandfather, the legendary Kalaimamani T.R. Mahalingam, her beloved grandmother, and her parents, whose guidance and encouragement shaped her vision for service.
Inspired by their unwavering support and belief in the power of music, she founded TRM Surya Foundation to create opportunities for differently-abled children and aspiring artists to learn, perform, and shine with confidence.
